EUMV phase 2 was completed in December 2014 with impressive results: 2.006 households participated and saved, on average, 301kWh/yr and 62 th/yr through low- and no-cost measures. The report contains more details on energy savings and successful outreach methods.

Alameda County: Rebecca Brown of BKi presented early results from the Alameda County Home Energy Analyzer program and at BECC 2014. Her complete presentation can be viewed by selecting the image, but the summary: 7.4% reduction in electricity and 13% reduction in natural gas use.

Green Pro Network conducted a pilot in 2014 as part of the Community Energy Champions program sponsored by Silicon Valley Energy Watch. HEA software was used as an diagnostic and educational tool to help low income seniors reduce their energy use. An energy advisor used HEA software to help a group of residents reduce their electric use by 10.2% and natural gas use by 12.2%. Residents who received general energy efficiency education saw their energy use rise slightly.

Upon completion of EUMV phase 1 in December 2013, HEA performed extensive analysis on energy savings which are summarized in the report to the left.

Combined results of EUMV 1 and 2 shows reductions of 5.5% for electricity and 16.4% for natural gas across all 1,239 customers. For the 310 customers in the top quartile, reductions were very impressive: 14.5% for electricity and 32.6% for natural gas.
